Materials:

1 pie pan

1 oven

1 paring knife

1 Cuisinart

1 mixing bowl

Measuring spoons

1 roll of aluminum foil

 

Ingredients:

1 pie crust

6 medium Apples (6 cups)

Ground nutmeg

3/4 teaspoon Ground cinnamon

1/4 teaspoon Salt

1 cup Sugar

Lemon juice

2 tablespoons all-purpose Flour

 

Instructions:

  1. Place crust in pie pan
  2. Blind bake pie crust @ 370*F, 10mins
  3. Core, peel apples, slice thinly
  4. In a separate bowl, mix:
  5. 3/4 cups sugar
  6. 2 tablespoons all purpose flour
  7. 3/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  8. 1/4 teaspoon salt
  9. 1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  10. 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  11. Fill pie crust with filling
  12. Top with second crust or crumble
  13. Brush butter on second crust
  14. Sprinkle sugar on second crust
  15. Cut large hole in aluminum foil and cover the edges while centering the hole over the pie.
  16. Bake @ 375*F, 45mins
  17. Remove the aluminum foil
  18. Bake @ 375*F, 15mins
